International and Global
Since 2020, we’ve been working locally and globally to secure the future of the vanilla industry. We recognize that farmers and their communities face challenges from culture, disease, and climate change. Building a sustainable industry requires a holistic, innovative approach.
Australian Vanilla Plantations has developed a framework that ensures farmers earn a living wage, supports their communities, and strengthens the entire vanilla ecosystem. By securing the supply chain from pod to market, we are creating a resilient, future-ready vanilla industry.

Australian Vanilla Plantations
Vanilla Assurance Program
Australian Vanilla Plantations is pioneering its own large-scale vanilla cultivation through proprietary Vanilla Domes. These domes create a secure vanilla reserve, ensuring a consistent annual supply for the industry, regardless of challenges faced in other regions.
By stabilizing supply and mitigating price volatility, this initiative strengthens the vanilla market. Our upcoming leasing program will allow partners to access this innovative system, further expanding resilience and opportunity across the industry.
Safe And Sustainable Vanilla Farms
Since 2020 we have been working with Papua New Guinea to implement a buying program that is safe for farmers and supports their communities.
The community support program aims to help improve living standards, education and encourage and improve the quality of vanilla production.

PNG Vanilla Program

Growing An Industry
Uganda, one of the world’s largest vanilla producers, faces ongoing challenges. In partnership with government initiatives and associations, AVP is working to anchor the first link in the procurement supply chain. Our program focuses on ensuring farmers receive fair wages, reducing workloads, increasing yields, and stabilising annual pricing. The Uganda Vanilla Buying Desk is a key part of this effort.
